As technology changes and advances, real estate agents are also starting to embrace some new high tech ways of marketing their properties. The Seattle Times reported that drones are starting to become more widely available, some real-estate agents have started to use drones to sell listings, inviting prospective buyers on aerial tours of country estates, waterfront acreage — and even standard, suburban development. But these agents need to be careful, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has outlawed unmanned aircraft up to 400 feet.
The technology is most useful when marketing large estates, which allows prospective buyers to get a bird’s-eye view of the entire property. A drone-photography firm that offers these services, Elevated Element, offers a variety of photography services and have found a way to meet the FAA regulations for these unmanned aircraft.
